Squid and Whales: Eight People Six Hours

This body of work is simply about people in their living spaces and how they relate back to the sitters life and personality. All of these portraits were made on May 8th, 2010 between the times of 4pm and 10:00pm all around Chicago from Chinatown to Albany Park at five different locations.

This was made for my Studio 2 final at Columbia College Chicago, I tried to push myself as to organize and schedule people to shoot at their places of living, and had to execute it all in a timely fashion, in order to replicate the demands of the real world within the industry which cannot wait.
